Did you know 16 million girls across the globe will never set foot in a classroom?

And two thirds of the world's 750 million illiterate adults are women?

We believe all women and girls should have equal access to education. Right now they don't.

Flight Centre Travel Academy are proud to support [Best Foot Forward](https://bestfootforward.org.au/), an Edmund Rice Foundation (Australia) Initiative, to help urgently raise awareness and funds to give girls and women an opportunity for education, so they can put their best foot forward.

From the week of 2 November, students and staff at Flight Centre Travel Academy will be supporting Best Foot Forward by rocking pink shoelaces and holding pink events in our virtual classrooms and head office.
