Jill was feeling in a rut with her uni studies so she came to us seeking a course that was more relevant to the industry. After completing her Diploma of Travel and Tourism, Jill landed a role as a Travel Consultant with Flight Centre. We talk to Jill about her journey with the Academy... 

Why did you choose to study at the Flight Centre Travel Academy?

I was feeling in a rut in my uni course and wanted a course more relevant to working in the industry.

What did you enjoy the most about the course?

I loved how fun and approachable my Facilitator was and how interactive and relevant and engaging the content was. I had the best relationship with the FCTA team. They were so helpful, understanding and patient- I’ve had many tutors/mentors/lecturers in the past and none came close to how they were at FCTA.

How did you fit study into your life?

I still worked full-time and managed to fit everything in nicely due to the fact that many of my units were online. This made it flexible to fit study into my life.

What advice would you give to future students?

Whatever you put in, you will get out tenfold.

What are your goals for the future?

To become in expert in travel and move into a a management role

What makes you proud to be a FCTA graduate?

It’s made me into the best travel agent I can be!
