More good news for tourism jobs in October

The October 2020 SEEK Employment Report saw a continuation of the positive month on month job ad growth, with a 8.5% increase on September ads across all industries.

The Hospitality and Tourism industry saw 14% growth in job ads, this follows last month's 41%. This puts the tourism industry in the top 3 industries with jobs growth in October.

Kendra Banks, Managing Director, SEEK ANZ comments: “We know the nation’s job ad growth is closely linked to the conditions in New South Wales and Victoria, and we’re very pleased to report robust performances in both states for consecutive months.”

Hopefully with even further easing of restrictions across all states, and fantastic progress on opening domestic borders, this positive growth in available jobs, especially in the tourism sector, continues over the summer holiday season.
