INF102FC is an elective subject of the Diploma of Travel and Tourism delivered in partnership between Flight Centre Travel Academy and Torrens University Australia.
⭐ 1 SEMESTER ⭐ 18 WEEKS ⭐ 6 MODULES ⭐ 90 HOURS WORK EXPERIENCE
What to expect
Throughout the 18-week program, students extend the knowledge acquired throughout their coursework subjects and apply to a workplace setting. This experience allows students to gain valuable professional experience by engaging in real-life tasks, broadening their understanding of the travel and tourism industry, professionalism, workplace culture and dynamics.
During the course, students will:
- Self-assess own work performance and professional experience and explore other roles in the travel and tourism industry.
- Reflect on the importance of organisational and interpersonal skills, workplace relationships, resilience and wellbeing in the professional travel and tourism industry
- Communicate effectively in the workplace and in ways appropriate to the discipline, client, audience and purpose.
- Enhance own employability by developing a professional portfolio based on work-integrated learning activities

90-Hour Industry Experience Requirement
This subject requires students to complete a minimum of 90 hours of industry-related experience in travel and tourism. They can be paid or voluntary roles across a variety of areas such as:
